The textured Polyester and Nylon yarns are heat-set and scoured to produce an open yarn bundle. The softly crimped filaments blossom to aid in the occlusion of blood vessels.
The yarns can be combined with stents to increase the ability of the embolic coil to occlude blood vessels.
